Liberty is probably the best “hugger” of a dog I have ever met. She puts all her weight into you when you sit on the ground, usually burying her face into your chest. She spends most of her days following our toddler around and letting him crawl all over her. This girl is the epitome of a family dog and puts up with all our toddler’s shenanigans. Her nickname is “wiggle butt” because her excitement overtakes her body to the point where her tail hits her ribcage. It makes my heart melt every time we return home to her “wiggle butt”. Liberty was my first introduction into the confirmation ring and diving into Golden Retrievers. She loves to get fancy in the ring but enjoys the great outdoors even more. Watching her nose go to work is so much fun to watch when we are out recovering big game on our hunts or just hiking around the mountains looking for sheds. I hope to get her into field work because this girl has drive when she knows there is work to do. She holds the best of both worlds, outgoing when out in the field but a little family couch potato when inside the house.
